Student sponsorship

Each year, Dialog Semiconductor sponsors a number of students through their degree courses, predominantly within (although not restricted to) the field of electronics engineering. The content of each sponsorship varies according to the individual and their degree course, but typically the sponsorship covers:

• Laptop from the company
• Bursary for the purchase of books
• Paid industrial placement
• Paid bachelor and master theses (non-UK universities)
• Opportunities for paid vacation work
 

At the end of your course, there is no guarantee of a full-time graduate job; however the sponsorships are set up in order to be able to foster long-term relations between Dialog and students.

Your letter should detail:

• what course you are taking
• what the curriculum entails
• why you want to work within the microelectronics industry
• why you want to apply to Dialog Semiconductor for a sponsorship
• how you feel you would benefit from the sponsorship
